"Interview with Martin Edge" Martin Edge is a visual artist whose colourful paintings depict everyday life Interview Summary Martin Edge, an artist and ambassador for Autism Queensland, has experienced a significant journey in disability arts, culminating in representation by prominent galleries and inclusion in major collections. Since starting his painting career accidentally in a TAFE course, Martin's technique has evolved from using primary colours to creating a unique palette with mixed hues, resulting in more detailed and refined works. People have responded positively to his vibrant and hopeful art, which he enjoys sharing to bring joy to others. Martin looks up to artist Ken Done, admiring Done's vivid use of colour and his contributions to Australian art even into his 80s. -
“Salubrious Productions (QLD) established in 1999” Salubrious Productions (Queensland) was established in 1999. Salubrious is an agency for disabled artists, representing musicians, writers and composers, theatre performers and actors, visual artists, and technicians in the creative industries. The agency continues operation today. Their website describes them as follows: “Salubrious Productions is a Brisbane-based entertainment and production agency. We represent a core of more than 200 diverse acts and artists and draw further from a large network of professional artists throughout Queensland and Australia.”

"Blue Roo Theatre Company - SongCircleReport" The Song Circle Evaluation Report (2014), written by Kirsty Martin, reads "In 2013 a creative partnership was formed between Blue Roo Theatre Company Inc. and Opera Queensland’s Open Stage. The Arts Queensland and Centacare Disability Services Queensland funded partnership resulted in ‘Song Circle’, a song-based production performed over three days at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane." - Breda Carty

"Weave Movement Theatre formed" Weave Movement Theatre was formed in 1997 following a series of workshops (organised by Arts Access) led by Adam Benjamin, director of CandoCo, a world-renowned inclusive dance company. Janice Florence was asked to facilitate classes prior to the workshops.
