Acknowledgement of Country
The research team acknowledges the Turrbal and Yugara peoples as the traditional owners of he lands where Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University now stand, the Nyungar people as the traditional owners of the lands where Curtin University now stands, the Gadigal people on which the workspaces of Creative Australia now stand, and the traditional owners and custodians of the many other lands throughout Australia on which we have undertaken research towards this project over since 2020.
We pay respect to Elders past, present, and emerging, and acknowledge that these lands have always been places of storytelling, and artistic and cultural expression.
We are privileged to work on these lands, and share examples of art made on these lands with present and future generations through this website.
The website may contain the names, images, and stories of people who have died.
